Woman Who Awards Celebrate Nim Rainu.
I had the pleasure of being asked to present a posthumous Woman Who…Change Champion award to the amazing Nim Rainu and her beautiful family recently. Unique Therapies sponsored the special award; Nim had been a finalist in 2017.
Sadly Nim passed away last year and at the recent Woman Who awards her achievement in her business, Bindis in Business, was recognised.
This year I was humbled yet again by the amount of talent in the room. I always feel very honoured to be part of such a strong and successful group of women. This year it was especially poignant.
Nim’s husband Raj and her daughter came to the collect the award on her behalf, which was incredibly moving and a very special moment for all of us in the room.
Her husband Raj spoke at how very proud he was of her achievements and was delighted for the family for this recognition.

It was a very well deserved award to an incredibly hard working and successful lady. Her networking company went from strength to strength and offered invaluable support to many. It celebrated the diversity in the Asian community and encouraged others to share skills and promoted healthy business relationships.
As she received a standing ovation, I was struck by the warmth in the room. How it is so important to support and recognise one another. This is just a part of Nim’s legacy and we are all very proud and have become better people because of her.
